Marking the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure at the helm of the country, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a series of public outreach and social welfare activities across Jamnagar on Tuesday. The programs focused on cleanliness, environmental conservation, public participation, and awareness about various welfare schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The celebrations witnessed active participation from Gujarat State Minister Reevaba Jadeja, MLA Divyesh Akbari, BJP office-bearers, corporators, party workers, and a large number of local residents. The events were organized at multiple locations across the city and aimed to highlight the achievements of the Prime Minister’s leadership over the past 12 years.

As part of the initiative, extensive cleanliness drives were conducted at several public places, including religious sites, canals, lakesides, and other prominent locations in the city. Volunteers and BJP workers joined hands to remove waste and spread awareness about maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. The campaign was organized in line with Prime Minister Modi’s flagship Swachh Bharat Mission, which has emphasized sanitation and cleanliness as key components of nation-building.

Special attention was given to cleaning the rear portions of canals and lakes in Jamnagar. Participants worked collectively to remove garbage and debris from these areas while encouraging citizens to adopt responsible waste disposal practices. Organizers said that maintaining cleanliness should not be limited to special occasions but must become a year-round public commitment.

In addition to the cleanliness campaign, a large-scale tree plantation drive was conducted under the theme of environmental conservation. Participants planted saplings at various locations and appealed to residents to contribute to protecting nature by planting and nurturing trees. The plantation initiative was linked to the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, which encourages citizens to plant trees in honor of their mothers while contributing to ecological sustainability.

The organizers emphasized that environmental protection and cleanliness are essential for ensuring a healthy future for coming generations. Through the plantation drive, they sought to deliver a strong message about preserving natural resources and maintaining ecological balance.

A Maha Aarti was also organized during the celebrations, where prayers were offered for the long life, good health, and continued leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Devotees and party workers gathered in large numbers to participate in the religious ceremony, which was held in a spirit of gratitude and national pride.

Alongside the social and religious activities, information was shared with the public about various welfare schemes introduced under the Modi government. Leaders highlighted initiatives aimed at improving the lives of poor families, marginalized communities, women, youth, and farmers. Among the schemes discussed were the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, free food grain distribution programs, educational opportunities for girls, employment initiatives for young people, and several measures designed to improve rural and urban development.

Speakers at the event noted that these welfare schemes have contributed significantly to improving the quality of life for millions of citizens across the country. They said the government’s focus on inclusive development has helped strengthen public trust while accelerating economic and social progress.

Addressing the gathering, Gujarat State Minister Reevaba Jadeja congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years marked by development, trust, and public welfare. She said the BJP team in Jamnagar was proud to celebrate the occasion through activities that reflect the Prime Minister’s vision for the nation.

Reevaba Jadeja urged citizens to treat cleanliness as their moral responsibility and actively participate in maintaining clean surroundings throughout the year. She also encouraged people to join the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign and contribute to environmental conservation through tree plantation.

Speaking about the country’s progress, she highlighted the transformative impact of various welfare programs launched under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. According to her, initiatives related to education for girls, employment opportunities for youth, technological advancement, and social welfare have played a significant role in strengthening India’s development journey.

She further stated that Gujarat continues to emerge as a model of development and serves as an important roadmap for the nation’s growth. Emphasizing the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), she called upon citizens from all sections of society to actively participate in nation-building efforts and contribute to the country’s future progress.

The event concluded with a collective appeal to citizens to maintain cleanliness every day of the year, protect the environment through tree plantation, and support developmental initiatives aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous India. The enthusiastic participation of BJP workers and local residents reflected widespread support for the programs and the broader message of civic responsibility and national development.
